New Zealand has been doing this post card thing. Our class decided to do it. It has a poster with questions like places our parents grew up and stuff like that. Our buddy school sent us post cards here are some of are some of our favourites:
Room 3 is a hungry dragon just woken from a long sleep eager to take on the world.
Eden is fish and chips all greasy on my fingers.
Isaiah is a hollow tree home to all critters and Leyla is a zoo full of chattering birds .
Kaimai school sent us their poster and its really cool! The amazing thing is that my mum Sonia used to live very close to Kaimai school. Probably if mum didn't go to the school that she did go to she would go to Kaimai school. We go through the Kaimai Range on the way to Tauranga .

The Tasmanian Devil
The tasmanian devil
Once upon a time there was a baby tasmanian devil .
He sniffed the air “seems safe” he thought his tummy rumbled. He hadn't had any food since he saw his mother but that was a month ago now.
His ears pricked up “was it a rabbit?” the country of tasmania was so dry this summer so the rabbit was weak and in search of water. He pounced he finally had food. He bit into it yum delicious.
“Now time to find my mum.”
One hour,two hours,three hours
“ glad I saved some rabbit from dinner he said as his stomach rumbled yet again “ excuse me what are you doing in the middle of tasmania?” asked a female tasmanian devil he did not answer “What is your name?” she asked “george” he replied “george what?”
George thimbleton” he said.
“GEORGE” She said and they all lived happily ever after
the end

Te Papa Trip - James Savage
One bright sunny day my class travelled to Te Papa.
My group saw the center of the earth explode in our faces’, a dinosaur skeleton, the bug burger but most favourite was in the bug lab it was … bees vs hornet! It was amazing but your hands would get very very tired.
One place was very interesting, very bright, it was the smooth shiny marble which opens and closes. It had fish in the water, frogs jumping from the grass into the water and the big fat dragonflies which went up and down around and in circles.
The best thing outside bug lab was the wibbly wobbly earth quake house. That shook side to side. The squid was fantastic. It was amazing how did they put a dead squid in a tank with shiny glass but dirty water? And the dinosaur was buried in little stones shining on the sun and we buried Tevita in the stones.
Back into the bug lab there was a man that told us about mosquitoes that they can kill millions of people each year but there are only 3 types that can kill you.
